Dear colleagues, I would like to share my AGN-related paper that is now published, which is of also personal career significance to me because it is the last paper in my PhD thesis (Turun yliopisto – University of Turku) which now came to the publication light! I am very grateful to all scientists near and far who have helped me shape the paper, especially with the tricky SED analysis.

This paper is a study of low-z Type I quasar hosts, a sample of 200+ quasars which have been studied starting with Wethers et al. 2022 paper in terms of their environment, then Stone et al. 2023 paper in terms of their immediate galaxy neighbors (aka merger candidates), and now the focus is more zoomed in on the quasar host galaxies themselves, studying their star formation history.
(Another paper is in progress, where we analyze the morphology of the same quasar hosts).

I wish I had the opportunity to share this paper with my first astronomy teacher, Dr. Oskanian (Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory – Բյուրականի աստղադիտարան), as he was the first person from who I heard about the quasars and their interesting history in terms of observing these objects and trying to understand their nature.
Sadly, he has passed away already even before I started my PhD studies.
